What is NOVA?

NOVA (The Network Ontology and Virtualization Appliance) is product line of appliances that enables IT to manage change with a unified view across applications, servers, network devices and virtual deployments.

What does it do?

While enterprise infrastructures have grown in complexity, IT operations does not have the visibility into the configurations of all the resources that support the business services delivered by the enterprise. NOVA uses a world class auto configuration discovery based on Industry Standards to monitor the configuration state of the infrastructure. From the auto configuration discovery, our proprietary technology creates the NOVA Repository which stores the information and has two unique capabilities:

• The Ontology -- a working data model of entities, behaviors and inter-dependencies in the infrastructure.
• The Virtualization - the NOVA creates a virtual construct of the infrastructure that is dynamically updated in real time, and provides a "viewable" window into the configuration state of the infrastructure.

Through an intuitive, web-based command and control interface called ConfigCommander^TM, NOVA can extract relevant, real-time information from the Repository, enabling accurate corporate audits, compliance and vulnerability assessments. The Repository is simultaneously leveraged to deliver a comprehensive set of information for IT operations such as configuration and change management, security, regulatory compliance and asset tracking
